This is a short, inclusive and dementia-friendly walk (approximately 1–2 miles) around the museum grounds. We take a relaxed pace, stop regularly to rest, and enjoy the changing scenery. Routes vary week to week.
In poor weather, we may stop for a warm drink at Clover Cottage.
Free of charge, no booking required. No museum pass needed. Just turn up on the day, you’ll be asked to complete a participant form.

The Men’s Group is a small, welcoming weekly group where men can socialise, take part in hands-on activities and support their mental wellbeing in a relaxed and friendly environment.
This is a weekly group for people living with dementia and their carers. Sessions include listening to music from different decades, singing together and gentle movement.
This is a weekly creative group for people living with dementia or brain changes. Sessions focus on pottery and working with clay, to build confidence and learn new skills.
