Itβs competition time as we host the World Quoits Championship in our 1900s Pit Village. Join us to see members of the National Quoits Association compete to be named champion of this traditional sporting event.
The game was popular in the 1900s, with many men and boys playing the game all year round. A lot of men had their own quoits, and most public houses had a quoits pitch with games between local village champions being well attended and very competitive.
