Health & Wellbeing

The Health and Wellbeing Team at Beamish Museum supports adults, regardless of age, health needs or abilities, by offering opportunities to enjoy the museum, take part in traditional activities, learn new skills, build confidence and, most importantly, enjoy the company of others

Youth Club

The Beamish Youth Clubs are for young people aged 8-11 and 12-16 years who want to be behind the scenes, from helping at events to wearing costume and learning about our history, there’s always something new to learn and do.

Would you like to get involved with the exciting and interesting work of Beamish Museum? If so, we would love to hear from you.

Work Placement

We can provide work experience opportunities for college and university students and also long-term work placements.

Hire Us

Beamish Museum is the ideal venue to impress clients, treat staff or have fun in a completely unique environment. It’s the only venue in the North East where you can turn up to your business meeting on a tram – and all income generated supports the museum, which is a registered charity.
